Today, I began the unenviable task of cleaning out my parents’ garage. Normally, this wouldn’t be too difficult of a project. Except for the fact that Dad is a pack rat. Actually, that is not entirely accurate. I would classify him as more of a hoarder. Because the house is completely full with his “treasures”, the garage is used as overflow storage. Much to the chagrin of my mother. There is barely enough room to get ONE vehicle in their two car garage. My mission, should I decide to accept it, is to remove and dispose of enough unneeded junk to once again make it the two car garage it was designed to be. I figure that if I fill up one trash receptacle each week, I’ll probably finish the job in about 10 years.
Better keep these, though. You never know when you’re going to need a fresh 30-pack of Imation Rainbow 1.44MB diskettes!
