My friend Jenni in Iowa drew this freehand! She’s been an artist for several years now and, in my opinion, her talents are extremely underrated. I’ve told her she should try and draw commercially, but she’s happy doing it just for fun in her spare time. Hey, whatever works for ya!
I met Jenni 22 years ago when I was working at a local radio station and she was a 16-year-old waitress at Happy Chef. Us broke radio guys used to show up at her restaurant (usually after bar close) and beg for free food. For some unknown reason, she has forgiven my antics and continues to pursue our friendship. Through the magic of the Internet, she found me earlier this year on Facebook. Modern technology never ceases to amaze me.
