“THE GOAT’S 10TH ANNIVERSARY A TO Z” just kicked off at 5PM. For those who aren’t familiar, WXYG is an album rock station, located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. They began operation on June 24, 2011. In celebration of their 10th anniversary of broadcasting, The Goat is playing every song in their library from A to Z.
Unlike those so-called “classic rock” stations, The Goat features an extremely large playlist. How large? The last song will play about 2 weeks from now. This station truly is a breath of fresh air for those of us who grew up with this music and almost never hear most of it on the radio anymore. Kudos to Al Neff and his crew for putting this together for us to enjoy.
