Today, I had the chance to spend some time with my friend Linda. We met way back in grade school, so Linda easily fits within the parameters of my “forever friends” group. In middle school, we talked on CB radios. I still remember putting her Antenna Specialists Starduster antenna together and installing it on the roof. For doing so, Linda’s mom paid me $35 AND bought me pizza at Apple Place! That’s righteous bucks for a 13-year-old!
Linda and I lost touch after high school, but she found me about a year ago on Facebook. Turns out, she moved “up north” and is living in Duluth now. Since I go right through Duluth on my way up to Two Harbors, it was a no-brainer that we should get together and chat after 30 years. So, here we are! We had a great time. Hopefully, it won’t be another three decades before we see each other again.
