Jen’s Porch Becomes My Office for the Week

All essential items for roaming the country and working on the road are shown in the photo below: reliable vehicle, friend’s comfortable patio, laptop computer, external mouse, portable radio, and Diet Mountain Dew. No dress clothes, time clock, or cubicle required or desired.

There are actually two more essential items: a fast, reliable Wi-Fi connection and a cell phone. Phone not pictured because I used it to take the photo!

BTW, the radio is a mid-1970s General Electric AM/FM portable: Model No. 7-2825H. It was a gift from a friend who inherited it from her grandfather. This beauty still looks and works perfectly, becoming my main “travel radio” with great reception on both AM and FM. Definitely NOT like the ‘Made in China’ junk you find today.
